4th bolt on evolution at monkey butress broke off n climber injured yesterday, in need of rebolt n checking of remaining protections.
Naughty Dragon, Tung Lung
Bolts 1-5 (from the ground up) replaced with Bolt Products Saltwater Series 100kN bolts. Hilti RE-500 resin. Original holes were drilled larger to 17mm and deeper for the resin bolts so no change in placement location.
The Lizard, Beacon Hill
Lower off and all bolt runners replaced with Bolt Products, marine grade stainless steel (316 ss) 6mm * 80mm resin bolts with Hilti RE 500 resin.
