Paul Pritchard, one of the world’s great rock climbers, speaks on a “Mountaineer’s Odyssey”. Mr. Pritchard pioneered many of the world’s most famous rock climbs but, as he approached the peak of his career, was severely injured but, through an extraordinary odyssey, started climbing again. In this inspiring talk, he features several of his famous climbs and reflects on the lessons from his climbing plus the mountains. He shows two short films, “To The Rainbow” about how he re-started rock climbing and “The Journey”, about cycling over the Himalayas a specially built recumbent trike to allow for his disabilities. This award winning film has shown at over 20 film festivals world-wide.
